Welcome to my blog
You can read about my experiences participating in the U.S. Department of State’s National Security Language Initiative for Youth and Critical Language Scholarship programs, as well as travel and related activities. In 2018, I’ll be traveling in Asia and studying abroad at Peking University, so stay tuned for new posts. Happy reading and be sure to follow!
What does the name of this blog mean?
Code-switching is to alternate between two or more languages in the context of a single conversation. Commonly done in Hong Kong between Cantonese and English, it’s part of my identity and also represents the multiculturalism this blog seeks to explore.
